For staying open while all others seem to be closed by flooding. (They have a well on the premises, which has sprouted a blue hose....).
Such sterling work deserved to be rewarded, so I popped in for lunch.
I had an excellent Gloucester Sausage and mustard Mash over leek, washed down with IPA. (It's always a good sign when the chef takes care to flavour the mash, and so it proved).
I also noticed that there was a good vegetarian selection.
