Classic Rap - Streets of New York (Kool G Rap and DJ Polo)

I hunted this down again after hearing the intro on a kids TV program. (Just the intro, for some reason they spared me having to answer the questions about the lyrics that my 6 year old would have asked....).

Just my opinion, but these are some of the best lyrics of the past 30 years (it's from late 80's I think) - scenes of a city in deft straightward language - the mark of great poetry is simplicity of language, and clarity of vision, something that too many "poets" forget.
