Ever thought about becoming a councillor?

If you have ever wondered what a councillor does, then ask them.

On The 6th March, councillors and officers from Gloucester City Council will be available to answer questions in the entrance to the Eastgate Market (inside the Mall), from 1pm-3pm.

For women interested in becoming a councillor the city council is offering six individuals the opportunity to shadow a member of the council during the summer months. Enabling them to understand what it takes, and how to juggle a career or family life with being an elected member.
