We have many great producers, retailers and places to eat in the area, and many of the producers attend the farmers markets.

The Original Navy Rum.

As well as being the first - originally served up by the Purser (under the watchful eye of a crew keen to ensure no short, or watery, measures) this is also perhaps one of the best rums around, being "pot stilled" like single malt whisky, for an enhanced flavour.

Baffled? It's a very sophisticated, and still very new, coffee liquor. The taste and aroma is all Arabica, and uniquely in the coffee liquor world, has no added flavours or colouring.

Based in over 70 acres of Gloucestershire countryside, in NEWENT, they have
been making superb quality wines, mainly still table variety, since the mid
1970s, and I believe are now the most awarded winery in the Country.

Sloe Vodka is absoutely delicious and I make it every autumn.

Westons is a busy cider/perry maker who have turned their plant, grounds and visitor center into a great family day out, not too far away.

This is an Orchard at Uckington whose purpose is the preservation of original local apple varieties.

A bit of a drive, but a very nice centre, in a beautiful part of the country - ideal as part a day out that also includes Hay on Wye or a drive in the Black Mountains.
