Schools

Doing something real, something that is appreciated by the wider community, can be hugely motivating for pupils. And great for a schools reputation.

• Younger Pupils - activities carried out either within school, or with parents might be ideal for Likal. For example, Scratch animations, fan videos, local photos, bullet point info on old buildings added top TimeLine etc. For many of these we do not even need the content aded to Likal - we can embed YouTube cliops, or frame sites/pages in your school site, which allows you to keep total control.
• Older Pupils - Likal can provide practical opportunities to pupils interested in writing, journalism, film or media. These can be in school, or, for older students, in the community. For pupils doing media related courses their course projects might make great Likal content (animation, music, local documentary are good, but drama less so unless very well acted).

Media Team

If you have a yen to write, report, photograph or film, contact us. There's no money in it but you do get bylines and credits. If you are a student videographer, we can loan camera/mics provided you can deliver edited footage in a YouTube friendly format.

Also very keen on special interest writers to cover things like local history, nature, gardening, sports, politics, courts etc.
