Gloucester has an important place in the history of flight, second only to Kitty Hawk.

Brockworth was where the first Jet Planes were built. Any sensible council, anywhere else in the world, would have sorted out the Jet Age Museum http://www.jetagemuseum.org/ and built a tourist attraction out of it.
