This is an Orchard at Uckington whose purpose is the preservation of original local apple varieties.

It is controlled by Gloucestershire County Council.

If you want to help preserve these varieties by offering your own land/gardens, or utilise the spare fruit, (wouldn't it be great if local resturants used local old cookers when in season), contact the council and ask for the Arborielist (tree guy).
