Kingsway Community Centre on Monday and Thursday evenings

The aim of the Corps is to help young people fulfil their potential, whilst learning new skills, taking part in a variety of activities, all within the framework of a training programme based on the Royal Navy.

TS Bulldog was the first unit in the country. Another first for the unit is the introduction of the NTC’s first Marine Section.

Parade Nights

We parade here at the Kingsway Community Centre on Monday and Thursday evenings between 1900 and 2100. (Between 7pm and 9pm)

What Do We Do?

We learn different skills, meet new friends, learn about the Royal Navy, and take part in a number of different events.

Specialist Subjects include:

Seamanship

Mechanics

Drill and Ceremonial

Cooking

Outside training will include: swimming, adventurous training, boating, and target shooting amongst other things.

The Navy Training Corps is a National Youth Charity and we are affiliated to Young Gloucestershire and the Federation of Independent Nautical Training Organisations.
