We are not party political, and our view is that by granting politicians a platform for them to reach people, in their own words, we can help rebuild trust in politicians. Locally anyway.

Likal is just what you have all been asking for when you complain about how hard it is to get your message across when you have to go through the media.

Our Advice:-

• Write about what you do and why you do it.
• Write about what you vote on and why you voted that way.
• Write about what you care about.
• AVOID NEGATIVE CAMPAIGNING. If you want to get into the gutter, talk to the gutter press. Slagging off your opponents isn't pretty and we don't intend to get caught up in flying writs.
• Libel - if you think you have been libeled, and we agree we'll remove the post. If we don't agree and you feel the matter is worth pressing, we'll remove the post, and we'll probably prevent YOU writing here ever again. You are in politics, have a thick skin.
