Woman’s Walking Stick Stolen As She Walked Along Epney Road – Appeal For Witnesses

Police in Tuffley are appealing for witnesses after a woman’s walking stick was stolen as she walked along the Epney Road.

The 64-year-old woman was walking along the road between 6pm and 6.10pm on Monday November 9 when two boys on bicycles cycled towards her. As they got close one of them pushed her into a wall and stole her brown/burgundy walking stick.

The boys are described as around 16-years-old and between 5ft 4” and 5ft 6” tall. One of them was wearing dark jeans, a black hooded top with a yellow stripe on the hood and was riding a BMX bike with what looked like a chain wrapped around the handlebars. The other boy was wearing dark hooded top, dark ‘baggy’ jeans and a baseball cap.
